Let’s get started!
3 Fresh Designs For Your Business Ad Graphics
1. Monochrome + colored subject
Pair a monochrome decorative element with your subject or product image in full color.
This design is great to further highlight exactly what the eye should gravitate towards.
To do this, look for a supporting image you want to go with your main subject.
In this case, we’re going to use this image of hands.
Note that depending on your subject image, you can use a table, a stage, or whatever you think fits your featured product.
Using the background remover tool, delete the image’s background. Then to get the monochrome look, click on “Edit image”.
We’re making it so it looks sort of like a cutout from a newspaper.
To do this, set the contrast all the way up and saturation all the way down.
You might also need to lower the brightness to retain more detail in your cutout.
Next, we’re going to add flowers in the back that are monochrome as well. Then you can add some cut paper accents at the bottom.
Add your product image, logo, headline, and call to action, then you’re done!
Speaking of the background remover tool, check out this tutorial on how to remove image background using this Canva tool.
2. Duplicating the subject to the background
To achieve this look, simply duplicate your featured product or subject image by hitting control c and control v or cmd c+ cmd v+ if you’re on a Mac.
Scale the size of your duplicate up, push the layer to the background, and lower its opacity.
Behind everything, you can leave a solid color in the background, or you can also add a blurred bokeh.
Just search bokeh in the Photos tab and find one you like.
Send it to the very bottom layer of your design, click on “Edit image” and increase your image’s blur.
Add more designs if you’d like or leave it as is.
Then add in your ad graphics’ essentials once again aka your logo, headline, and cta.
And voila, we’re done with this design!

3. Dual-color background
You can manually add two shapes from the Elements tab and set them to the colors you want.
Or, go to the Photos tab and type in “dual color” in the search bar.
When you do, you’ll have multiple options for color combinations that you can set as your ad graphics’ background.
For this design, we’ll be using this subject image so we’re going to look for a combination that fits its look.
Then for a little bit of texture in your background, you can search the keyword “fade” in the Elements tab.
And then, use one of these overlays here with the little fading dots.
For this design, we’re going to lower the opacity and set the color to white.
After that, add in your logo, headline, and call to action button. And once again, you’re done!
